Oak Mountain Next

“We Got Next!” Oak Mountain Next aims to prepare our sixth-grade girls to be the next members of the Oak Mountain Middle School program. All sixth graders will be evaluated and placed on a team to play in the North Shelby Girls Basketball League. They will play against other sixth-grade girls’ teams throughout Shelby County in this league.

We are making this change to build school spirit, better prepare them for stronger competition, and allow the sixth graders to experience wearing the Oak Mountain Eagles jersey!

A few of the sixth graders will also have the opportunity to play in the Over the Mountain league. This would be in addition to the Cahaba Girls League.
